Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 26:2N-3

  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
  • State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
Prior to administering a pertussis vaccine to a child in this State, a health care provider shall give the child’s parent or guardian a copy of the pamphlet prepared pursuant to section 2 of this act and provide the parent or guardian with a reasonable opportunity to read the contents of the pamphlet.
