Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 32:36-14

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
14. Operating budget. The Commission shall prepare a detailed annual operating budget beginning with the fiscal year commencing after the effective date of this act. A preliminary annual operating budget shall be made publicly available on the Commission’s website each fiscal year and a final annual operating budget shall be made publicly available on the Commission’s website each fiscal year. The time with which such preliminary annual operating budget and final annual operating budget shall be made public during each fiscal year shall be determined by the Commission.
