Whoever knowingly and willfully violates the provisions of Section 2, 3 or 4 [24-9A-2, 24-9A-3 or 24-9A-4 N.M. Stat. Ann.] of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for a definite term of less than one year, or to the payment of a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), or to both imprisonment and fine in the discretion of the judge.
