§ 673. Minimum wage. 1. Statutory. Every employer shall pay to each of its employees for each hour worked a wage of not less than the wage established pursuant to subdivision one of section six hundred fifty-two of this chapter, or such other wage as may be established in accordance with the provisions of this article.

  • Employer: includes any individual, partnership, association, corporation, cooperative, business trust, legal representative, or any organized group of persons acting as an employer of an individual employed or permitted to work on a farm. See N.Y. Labor Law 671
  • Wage: includes allowances in the amount determined in accordance with the provisions of this article for meals, lodging, and other items, service and facilities when furnished by the employer to his employees. See N.Y. Labor Law 671

2. Existing wage order. The minimum wage order in effect on the effective date of this act shall remain in full force and effect, except as modified in accordance with the provisions of this article.
