§ 1745. Limited liability. Neither the members of the board nor any officers or employee of the authority acting on behalf thereof, while acting within the scope of such person's authority, shall be subject to any liability resulting from carrying out any of the powers expressly given in this title. A trustee, officer or employee of the authority shall be deemed an "employee" for the purposes of § 50-k of the general municipal law, provided, however, that any trustee appointed by the governor or any employee of the state shall be deemed an "employee" for the purposes of § 18 of the public officers law for any actions relating to their activities as a trustee of the authority created by this title.
