Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 104D-5

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. The departments, institutions and agencies of this State and its subdivisions are hereby authorized to cooperate with the Board in the furtherance of any of its activities pursuant to the Compact. (1965, c. 858, s. 5.)
