(a)        Street Setbacks and Curb Cut Regulations. – Local governments may establish street setback and driveway connection regulations pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 160A-306 and N.C. Gen. Stat. § 160A-307 or as a part of development regulations adopted pursuant to this Chapter. If adopted pursuant to this Chapter, the regulations are also subject to the provisions of N.C. Gen. Stat. § 160A-306 and N.C. Gen. Stat. § 160A-307
