Any time a juvenile court counselor or any person has cause to suspect that a juvenile is abused, neglected, or dependent, or has died as the result of maltreatment, the juvenile court counselor or the person shall make a report to the county department of social services as required by N.C. Gen. Stat. § 7B-301 ?(2009-311, s. 14.)
