The director may contract with adjoining states and provinces to provide for the construction, reconstruction, repair, or maintenance of highways located on or near the border of each jurisdiction.
Terms Used In North Dakota Code 24-02-02.2
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Director: means the director of the department of transportation of this state, acting directly or through authorized agents as provided in section 24-02-01. See North Dakota Code 24-01-01.1
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
