Sections 305.27, 705.12, 731.02, 731.12, 733.72 to 733.77, and 2921.42 of the Revised Code apply to an officer of an issuer who is an officer, director, stockholder, employee, or owner of any interest in a proprietorship, corporation, joint enterprise, partnership, or other association which is the lessee of a project or the trustee, paying agency, or depository of funds under an indenture of mortgage or trust agreement securing bonds issued under authority of section 165.03 of the Revised Code, or a supplier of materials or a contractor or subcontractor for construction of a project.

Terms Used In Ohio Code 165.13

  • Bonds: means bonds, notes, or other forms of evidences of obligation issued in temporary or definitive form, including notes issued in anticipation of the issuance of bonds and renewal notes. See Ohio Code 165.01
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Issuer: means the state or a county, township, or municipal corporation of the state. See Ohio Code 165.01
  • Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
  • Project: includes sanitary facilities, drainage facilities, and prevention or replacement facilities as defined in section 6117. See Ohio Code 165.01
  • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
