As used in ORS § 190.480 to 190.490, ‘state agency’ or ‘agency’ means every state officer, board, commission, department, institution, branch or agency of state government whose costs are paid wholly or in part from funds held in the State Treasury. [1991 c.137 § 1]

Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 190.480

  • state government: means the executive department, the judicial department and the legislative department. See Oregon Statutes 174.111
  • State Treasury: includes those financial assets the lawful custody of which are vested in the State Treasurer and the office of the State Treasurer relating to the custody of those financial assets. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
