(1) The Oregon Department of Administrative Services shall provide for the supplying of the public buildings and grounds with water and water power sufficient for the present and future use of the facilities serviced. The department shall have full power to carry into effect the provisions of this section.

  • Department: means the Oregon Department of Administrative Services. See Oregon Statutes 276.001
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

(2) As used in this section, ‘public buildings and grounds’ means the public buildings and grounds and works that are, from time to time, created by law and come within the jurisdiction of the department and the other state buildings now or hereafter located at or near the seat of government.
