(1) The portion of U.S. Highway 30 that is known as the Lower Columbia River Highway, beginning in St. Helens and ending in Rainier, shall also be known as Police Chief Ralph Painter Memorial Highway.

Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 366.918

  • Department: means the Department of Transportation. See Oregon Statutes 366.005
  • Highway: means every public way, road, street, thoroughfare and place, including bridges, viaducts and other structures within the boundaries of this state, open, used or intended for use of the general public for vehicles or vehicular traffic as a matter of right. See Oregon Statutes 366.005

(2) The Department of Transportation shall place and maintain suitable markers along the highway described in this section indicating the designation of the highway as the Police Chief Ralph Painter Memorial Highway. [2011 c.460 § 1; 2023 c.9 § 21]
