(1) Amounts collected by the Oregon Patient Safety Commission under ORS § 442.850 may not exceed $1.5 million for the fiscal year beginning on July 1, 2007, and ending on June 30, 2008.

Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 442.851

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • United States: includes territories, outlying possessions and the District of Columbia. See Oregon Statutes 174.100

(2) For every fiscal year beginning on or after July 1, 2008, the dollar amount specified in subsection (1) of this section shall be adjusted annually by the commission based upon the change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers, West Region (All Items), as published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States Department of Labor.
