Any portion of one or more counties, including both incorporated and unincorporated areas as well as areas within sanitary, drainage and other districts, may be formed into a sanitary authority under ORS § 450.600 to 450.989. Such areas need not be contiguous. [1955 c.614 § 3; 1989 c.809 § 8]
