(1) As used in subsection (2) of this section, ‘violation’ means any exercise or attempt to exercise by any state agency or public corporation of this state which has received a copy of a state water resources statement as provided in ORS § 536.350, of any power, duty or privilege which would in any way conflict with the state water resources statement, without the approval of the Water Resources Commission as provided in ORS § 536.370 (2).

(2) The commission, may apply to the circuit court of the county in which a violation is alleged to exist for the restraining by appropriate process of the commission or continuation of a violation, or for the enforcement by appropriate process of compliance with ORS § 536.370 to 536.390.
