(1)(a) The Director of the Employment Department may release, compromise or satisfy any lien provided for in ORS § 657B.280 and 657B.290 by filing a notice of release or satisfaction with the county clerk of the county in which the notice of lien claim was filed.

Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 657B.310

  • Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
  • Medical leave: means leave from work taken by a covered individual that is made necessary by the individual's own serious health condition. See Oregon Statutes 657B.010

(b) Upon filing of the notice under this subsection, the property against which the lien is claimed shall be released from the lien.

(2) The director may include in the amount received for the release of the lien any costs incurred by the director in collecting the amounts due.

(3) Amounts collected pursuant to this section shall be deposited in the Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Fund established under ORS § 657B.430. [2019 c.700 § 20]
