(1) If the Secretary of State denies a limited liability partnership‘s application for reinstatement following administrative revocation of its registration as a limited liability partnership, the Secretary of State shall give written notice to the limited liability partnership that explains the reason or reasons for denial.

Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 67.670

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • Limited liability partnership: means a partnership that has registered under ORS § 67. See Oregon Statutes 67.005
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
  • Partnership: means an association of two or more persons to carry on as co-owners a business for profit created under ORS § 67. See Oregon Statutes 67.005
  • State: means a state of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or any territory or insular possession subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. See Oregon Statutes 67.005

(2) The limited liability partnership may appeal the denial of reinstatement pursuant to the provisions of ORS Chapter 183. [1997 c.775 § 66]
