(1) A foreign limited liability partnership authorized to transact business in this state shall deliver an amendment to its application for authorization to the office of the Secretary of State for filing if it changes:

  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
  • Business: includes every trade, occupation, profession and commercial activity. See Oregon Statutes 67.005
  • State: means a state of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or any territory or insular possession subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. See Oregon Statutes 67.005

(a) Its name as shown on the records of the office of the Secretary of State; or

(b) The address of its principal office.

(2) The amendment to the application for authorization shall set forth its name shown on the records of the office of the Secretary of State and the text of each amendment. The name as changed must satisfy the requirements of ORS § 67.730. [1997 c.775 § 71]
