  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.

(b)  If at any time during a fiscal year any participant feels that the recommendations of the caseload estimating conference are no longer valid with respect to their caseload sources then that participant has a duty to and shall notify each of the principals. The secretary of the executive office of health and human services shall review the concerns of each participant and determine whether the problems are sufficient to request an additional conference.
