The Rhode Island General Laws as hosted by LawServer come from the Rhode Island legislature, and are updated after the legislature updates its own version of the Laws. The legislature does not immediately update the Laws when a new law is enacted, however. So to bring your research up to the date it is sometimes necessary to look for laws enacted since the latest version of the Laws were published. That information is available here.
