Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to limit the sentencing court’s ability to respond to a probation violation or modify the terms and conditions of probation.

  • Probation: A sentencing alternative to imprisonment in which the court releases convicted defendants under supervision as long as certain conditions are observed.
