The results from the initial election for trustees shall determine the length of term each trustee shall hold. The candidate with the most votes shall be elected for a threeyear term, the candidate with the second highest vote total shall be elected for a twoyear term and the candidate with the third highest vote total shall be elected for a oneyear term. The term of office for a trustee elected at a succeeding election shall be three years or until the trustee’s successor has qualified.
