The board may, in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5, suspend or revoke any license issued pursuant to this chapter or place on probation any licensee, if the licensee is found to have:

(1) Falsified any application, record, report or information required by this chapter;

  • Board: means the board of pharmacy created by §. See Tennessee Code 53-14-103
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
  • Probation: A sentencing alternative to imprisonment in which the court releases convicted defendants under supervision as long as certain conditions are observed.
  • Record: means information that is inscribed on a tangible medium or that is stored in an electronic or other medium and is retrievable in a perceivable form. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
(2) Failed to comply with the protocol of a project;
(3) Failed to maintain effective control against diversion of legend drugs, controlled substances or controlled substance analogues;
(4) Willfully and unreasonably refused to permit an inspection authorized by this chapter;
(5) Been convicted of an offense in any jurisdiction relating to legend drugs, controlled substances or controlled substance analogues; or
(6) Willfully or negligently violated this chapter or any state or federal drug laws or regulations.
