Terms Used In Tennessee Code 56-35-203
- Continuance: Putting off of a hearing ot trial until a later time.
- insurance company: includes all corporations, associations, partnerships, or individuals engaged as principals in the business of insurance. See Tennessee Code 56-1-102
- Title insurance agent: means either:
(A) A natural person who meets the requirements of or performs the same functions as a "title insurance agency". See Tennessee Code 56-35-102
No portion of the expense of examination, satisfaction of the requirements of this chapter for the filing of a bond or cash and/or securities, or any other qualification for the issuance or continuance of a title insurance agent‘s license shall be paid for or defrayed by a title insurance company.
