Under the Tennessee Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:| Class | Prison | Fine |

| class C misdemeanor | up to 30 days | up to $50 |
Any violation of parts 2-5 of this chapter, unless otherwise specified by law, shall be classified as a Class C misdemeanor.
