- Eligible project: means a project for construction of sewage treatment works:
(A) For which approval is required under this chapter. See Tennessee Code 68-221-201 - Municipality: means any county, town or city, or special district empowered to provide municipal sewage collection and treatment services, or any combination of two (2) or more of the foregoing acting jointly, in connection with an eligible project. See Tennessee Code 68-221-201
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
To the extent that a state grant is made retroactively under this part for an eligible project that has been financed by other funds, such state grant may be used by a municipality for any municipal sewer purpose.
