• Chambers: A judge's office.
• General-law municipality: means a municipality designated by Chapter Texas Local Government Code 1.005

• Joint committee: Committees including membership from both houses of teh legislature. Joint committees are usually established with narrow jurisdictions and normally lack authority to report legislation.
• Mortgage loan: A loan made by a lender to a borrower for the financing of real property. ^{Source: OCC}
