Terms Used In Texas Government Code 2116.071
- Comptroller: means the state comptroller of public accounts. See Texas Government Code 312.011
- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
- Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
The comptroller, by purchase, lease, donation, or other means, may acquire real property necessary for one or more buildings to operate the depository.
