  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

A nominating body shall designate a liaison to oversee enterprise projects it has nominated under this chapter and to communicate and negotiate with:
(1) the bank or the office;
(2) an enterprise project; and
(3) other entities in an enterprise zone or affected by an enterprise project, including a qualified business, within the jurisdiction of the nominating governmental entity.
