- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC

An agency may acquire by lease, and maintain, use, and operate, any real, personal, or mixed property necessary to the exercise of the powers, rights, privileges, and functions of the agency.
