(a) A person‘s consent to take a psychoactive medication is not valid and may not be relied on if the person is subject to an order issued under § 574.106.
(b) The issuance of an order under § 574.106 is not a determination or adjudication of mental incompetency and does not limit in any other respect that person’s rights as a citizen or the person’s property rights or legal capacity.

- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
