- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The department shall inform the person who filed an application for a determination of an intellectual disability of the person’s right to:
(1) an independent determination of an intellectual disability under § 592.020; and
(2) an administrative hearing under § 593.008 by the agency that conducted the determination of an intellectual disability to contest the findings.
