- Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
The statutory premium reserve and supplemental reserve fund shall be:
(1) held in cash; or
(2) invested in first mortgage notes or other securities admissible for investment by title insurers under Section 2551.151.
