- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A certificate of registration:
(1) must contain a unique number;
(2) applies only to the person whose name appears on the certificate or an employee of that person; and
(3) is not transferable.
