- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
Liability of the department under this subchapter is limited to money damages in an amount not to exceed the amount paid by the insurance provider described by § 11.355 to the claimant.
