Terms Used In Texas Parks and Wildlife Code 82.402

  • Wild: when used in reference to an animal, means a species, including each individual of a species, that normally lives in a state of nature and is not ordinarily domesticated. See Texas Parks and Wildlife Code 1.101

The department may establish one or more game sanctuaries in the water of Caddo Lake for the protection of wild ducks, geese, and all other migratory birds. The sanctuaries shall protect the birds from being pursued, hunted, taken, or disturbed.
