Terms Used In Texas Special District Local Laws Code 7222.0101
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
In this chapter:
(1) “Board” means the district’s board of directors.
(2) “Corporation” means the Maxwell Water Supply Corporation.
(3) “Director” means a board member.
(4) “District” means the Maxwell Special Utility District.
