Terms Used In Texas Tax Code 111.0049

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.

A taxpayer may appeal the revocation or suspension of a permit or license under § 111.0046 and 111.0047 of this code in the same manner that appeals are made from a final deficiency determination.
