Terms Used In Texas Tax Code 202.003
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
This code does not impair a contract in which any person has agreed to pay any part of the tax imposed by this chapter. This code does not relieve any person of any contractual liability.
