Terms Used In Texas Utilities Code 163.074
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
This subchapter prevails to the extent of a conflict between this subchapter and any other law, including:
(1) a law regulating the affairs of a municipal corporation; or
(2) a home-rule charter provision.
