Terms Used In Texas Water Code 56.013
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
A district may include all or part of any village, town, or municipal corporation, but land included in one district may not be included in any other drainage district.
