Terms Used In Texas Water Code 62.209
- District: means a navigation district operating under the provisions of Article XVI, § 59, of the Texas Constitution. See Texas Water Code 62.001
A district to which § 62.1071 applies may not spend for the acquisition of land, equipment, or improvements under that section the proceeds of bonds authorized by the district’s voters before the district undertakes the acquisition.
