Any
political subdivision may create and maintain a reserve fund or, may jointly with one or more other political subdivisions, make contributions to a joint reserve fund, for the purpose of:

making payment of claims against the cooperating subdivisions when they become payable under this chapter; or |

- Political subdivision: means any county, city, town, school district, community reinvestment agency, special improvement or taxing district, special district, special service district, an entity created by an interlocal agreement adopted under Title 11, Chapter 13, Interlocal Cooperation Act, or other governmental subdivision or public corporation. for the purpose of purchasing liability insurance to protect the cooperating subdivisions from any or all risks created by this chapter. |
