- Advice and consent: Under the Constitution, presidential nominations for executive and judicial posts take effect only when confirmed by the Senate, and international treaties become effective only when the Senate approves them by a two-thirds vote.
- authorizer: means an entity listed in Section 53G-5-205 that authorizes a charter school. See Utah Code 53G-5-102
- board of trustees: means :
(b) a technical college board of trustees described in Section 53B-2a-108. See Utah Code 53G-5-102 - Process: means a writ or summons issued in the course of a judicial proceeding. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
