  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • Law enforcement officer: means a person designated in subdivision 4(11) of this title and includes deputy State game wardens and auxiliary State Police officers. See
  • Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.

§ 3218. Law enforcement officer‘s testimony

In any proceeding under this subchapter, a law enforcement officer’s testimony that he or she is certified pursuant to 20 V.S.A. § 2358 shall be prima facie evidence of that fact. (Added 1999, No. 20, § 12.)
