  • Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
  • Claim: means any request or demand, whether under a contract or otherwise, for money or property, and whether or not the State has title to the money or property, that:

  • Fees: shall mean earnings due for official services, aside from salaries or per diem compensation. See
