As used in this article, unless the context requires a different meaning:

Terms Used In Virginia Code 2.2-1831.1

  • Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
  • Budget Bill: means the Budget Bill submitted pursuant to § 2. See Virginia Code 2.2-1831.1
  • Fund: means the Revenue Reserve Fund. See Virginia Code 2.2-1831.1

“Budget Bill” means the Budget Bill submitted pursuant to § 2.2-1509, including any amendments to a general appropriation act pursuant to such section.

“Fund” means the Revenue Reserve Fund.
