The State Veterinarian may specify requirements governing the transportation of dead poultry.
Terms Used In Virginia Code 3.2-6027
- Dead poultry: means poultry, exclusive of those intentionally slaughtered, that die as a result of disease, injury, or of natural causes, upon any premises in the Commonwealth. See Virginia Code 3.2-6024
- State Veterinarian: means the veterinarian employed by the Commissioner as provided in § 3. See Virginia Code 3.2-5900
