At every developmental disabilities administration annual assessment, the case manager is required to meet with the client in an in-person setting. If the client is receiving personal care services or supported living services, the case manager must ask permission to view the client’s living quarters and note his or her observations in the service episode record. If the case manager is unable to view the client’s living quarters for any reason, the case manager must note this in his or her report along with the reason given for why this is not practicable at the current time.

- Administration: means the department of social and health services developmental disabilities administration. See Washington Code 71A.10.020
- Assessment: means an evaluation is provided by the department to determine:
Washington Code 71A.10.020services: means services provided by state or local government to carry out this title. See Washington Code 71A.10.020 Supported living: means community residential services and housing which may include assistance with activities of daily living, behavioral, habilitative, interpersonal, protective, medical, nursing, and mobility supports provided to individuals with disabilities who have been assessed by the department as meeting state and federal requirements for eligibility in home and community-based waiver programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
